Past: 150th Anniversary Service and Reception

Emanuel United Church of Christ continues in celebrating the 150th year of serving our Lord with a special Sunday morning service at 10:10 a.m. on Sept. 24 with a meal and brief reception following. Also the display at the Jackson History Center is up through September showcasing some of Emanuel's history in the community. Coming up in October Pastor Joe Rowley will be reenacting a journey that took place during the earliest history of Emanuel, he will be traveling on foot from Pocahontas, Missouri to Jackson before Sunday service on Oct. 8 in remembrance of the efforts of the first pastor, the Rev. J.F. Kies.
