Past: Kent Library Athenaeum Series

Language and Culture as a Pathway to Provide Competent Health Care in the Latino Community both at Home and Abroad: Alexis Engelhart, working with Dr. Debbie Lee-DiStefano, will be speaking on her participation in medical brigades in Honduras. This opportunity, as well as her background in biology, helped lead her to an interest in Spanish and international healthcare. These experiences have impacted her overall outlook on healthcare, as well as how she has changed as a person. This presentation is part of Kent Library's monthly Athenaeum series and will be held on the main floor of the library at noon. All presentations in this series are free and open to the public.
