Past: "Emanations" Exhibit at the River Campus artist reception

Dobbins Gallery - River Campus

Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus and the Department of Art announce the opening of “Emanations,” an exhibition of drawings and sculptural images, featuring the work of Southeast alumna May J. Robbins, on display in the Kenneth and Jeanine Dobbins River Campus Center Gallery.

An exhibition reception is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Oct. 6. The exhibit will be on display through Nov. 1 in the Dobbins Gallery. Admission is free.

Robbins is a mixed media artist who works primarily with abstract painting and sculpture. Her artwork is influenced and inspired by the cycles of nature and organic life forms. She has a variety of artistic interests and pursuits in addition to her primary artistic practices including pen and ink drawing, illustration, digital art and commissioned artwork.

Robbins earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2015 from Southeast Missouri State University. Her artwork resides in private collections both nationally and internationally.
