Past: Tour de Shawnee: A bike ride to remember

The 9th annual Tour de Shawnee bike ride will start at the Olive Branch Horseshoe Lake Community Center. It offers 15, 30 (flat), 45, 62 and 100-mile distances, routes for all ages and levels of experience. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Cyclists that register by Oct. 7 pay an entry fee of $40 which includes an event bag full of goodies and a commemorative event t-shirt. Cyclists will be treated to a supper of barbecue, fish and fried chicken beginning at 5 p.m. on Oct. 27.
