Past: 500th anniversary of Protestant Reformation at Chaffee

Rev. Daniel Preus, the 5th vice-president of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, will be the guest preacher for the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation at the 8 a.m. service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Gray St. in Chaffee and at the 10:15 a.m. service at Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville, 138 County Road 226, Sunday, October 29.

Special music for this anniversary will be provided by Zion’s choir under the direction of Mrs. Beth Glaus.

Rev. Wayne Scwhiesow, pastor, will be the liturgist.

A pot-luck dinner will follow the 10:15 a.m. service at Zion Lutheran in the fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to stay for the meal and enjoy Christian Fellowship with Zion’s members.
