Past: Jackson Holiday Extravaganza Flip the Switch Party

Join us in the Jackson City Park for fun family activities as we turn on this year's holiday light display! Horse-drawn wagon rides, games, crafts, letters to Santa, a bounce house, and music will take place near the tennis courts and pavilion and begin at 4:30 p.m. The lighting ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m. near the footbridge and a special guest will be there to turn on the beautiful light display for the season. Around 5:45 p.m. Santa will arrive and kids will get a chance to visit with him and Mrs. Claus. Most activities are free, but bring a little cash as Kebler's Kitchen will be selling snacks and the JCOB will have cocoa and cupcakes for sale. And we will have lighted ducks for sale for the 6:45 p.m. duck races. Besides making cherished family memories, you can also make a difference by bringing non-perishable food items to donate for the Jackson Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry at the Giving Tree. All of Parkview Street will be blocked off for the evening so allow yourself some extra time to park. In case of inclement weather, the festivities will take place on Saturday, Nov. 25.
