Past: 25th and 20th anniversary of the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow

St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee, Missouri, and Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow's ordination into the office of the Holy Ministry and also his 20th anniversary as the pastor of both of these churches. The Rev. Matthew A. Kettner from Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob, Illinois, and classmate of Schwiesow, will preach an dlead the services. The Rev. David Dissen, pastor emeritus and member of Zion Lutheran will serve as the Lector at Zion. special music is planned by Zion's choir under the direction of Beth Glaus. The Rev. Roger A. Abernathy , from Zion, Crosstown and Salem, Farrar, Missouri, also a classmate of Schwiesow, will serve as master of ceremonies for the dinner and program that will follow the 10:15 a.m. service in the fellowship hall at Zion. The public is invited the celebration and to remain for the dinner and program that follows the service.
