Old Town Cape, Inc. will hold the Annual Parade of

Lights on Sunday, Nov. 25, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The Parade of Lights theme for this year is Christmas Fantasy, chosen by parade chairs Kent and Vicki Zickfield, owners of Zickfield’s Jewelry & Gifts located at 29 N. Main Street in downtown Cape Girardeau.

The Parade of Lights will begin at dusk with the parade route starting at Capaha Park. The route will continue East down Broadway Street, will then turn right onto Main Street, and will end at the corner of Main and Independence Streets beside Art Van Furniture parking lot.

Parade of Lights attendees can expect to see a variety of holiday-themed floats from Cape Girardeau and surrounding area businesses and organizations, as well as floats from Illinois and Kentucky. Rumor also has it that Santa Clause himself will be making an appearance during the parade!

Join Old Town Cape, Inc. at this family-friendly event, and help kick off the holiday season in downtown Cape Girardeau!
