Past: Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

Cape Girardeau Public Library

The next meeting of the southeast Missouri chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the Cape Girardeau Public Library. Three of the deadliest mass shootings in recent American history have happened in the last 18 months. Please join us and learn how you can join the fight to #EndGunViolence.

December marks the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. We will be taking a look at the changes that have occurred in our gun laws since 2012 and the outlook for pending legislation in 2018. We will also be making final preparations for the Newtown Candlelight Vigil to be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Christ Episcopal Church.
