ILLINOIS BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 1818-2018 Illinois Playwrights, New Works and Revivals Series: ASSUMPTIONS by Steve Falcone begins with a funeral at Holy Ghost Church. An unexpected guest to the Funeral of Ned O'Malley soon has the family and the Church staff in an uproar. The remainder of this lite comedy follows the characters as they gently and reverently try to come to term with their beliefs, the nature of faith and how to function as a modern Christian in a confusing world.
