Past: Free community screening of Age of Love-A story of older adults finding love and companionship after 70.

Southeast Missouri State University, Department of Social Work is hosting a free community screening of the documentary Age of Love, by Steven Loring. The documentary follows a group of older adults, 70 years old and older, who participate in a speed dating event in the hopes of finding love and companionship.

The screening is free and will take place on Southeast's River Campus in the John and Betty Glenn Convocation Center on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Following the documentary there will be a discussion with the film's director, Steven Loring. He will share his personal story behind the documentary and discuss common issues surrounding older adults and their pursuit for companionship. Additionally, information concerning a speed dating (companionship) event for older adults occurring on April 10, 2017 will be available.
