Past: February Annual-Celebrating the Art of Billyo

​Join us in Uptown Jackson for the third February Annual Event-celebrating the art of Billyo, renowned Missouri painter. The event will open 3:00 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 24.

All of Uptown Jackson will host an exhibition of Billyo's art in shop windows throughout the Historic District. There will be 15 of his original paintings exhibited at the History Center at 102 S. High St.

At 3:30 p.m., Billyo and author, Karen Glines will give a presentation at the History Center on the "Painting Missouri" project-- featuring Billyo's paintings from all 114 counties. The book will be available for sale with an artist/author signing during the event.

Enjoy special treats during the event from Uptown Jackson businesses including a wine and cheese party with in-store specials at Cobblestone Corner; snacks and wine at High Street Station; a storewide 15% discount at Vanice's; and a Missouri Whiskey tasting at Barrel 131. The History Center will have appetizers from Tractor's and coffee from The-Ground-A-Bout.

Break up the winter blues with a fun evening in Uptown Jackson.

Artwork will be available for purchase. There is no admission fee to attend the event.
