Past: Selling Local Foods Workshop

The University of Missouri Extension will conduct a workshop for those interested in selling local foods. Extension specialists Donna Aufdenberg, Sarah Denkler, Kate Kammler and David Reinbott along with Nathan Johanning, Small Farms Educator with the University of Illinois Extension will provide information related to retail production of specialty crops. Topics for the day-long program include selling to business planning, budgets and liability, customer service and merchandising, community support agriculture, selling at farmers markets, agritourism, farm stands and u-pick and selling to grocery stores.
