Registration is NOT required. Facility is wheelchair & handicapped accessible.

ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS: Get up close & personal with some of the animals at the zoo!

SENSORY TOUCH & FEEL: Touch and feel biofacts such as antlers, eggs, quills, feathers, etc.

INFORMATION BOOTHS: Local agencies & organizations will be setup to give educational and other information.

DOOR PRIZE GIVEAWAYS: Drawings for FREE Zoo Memberships, Birthday Party Package, Guest Passes, T-Shirts & more!

Every person attending Sensory Safari will get a chance to signup for the door prize drawing of their choice! Door Prize Drawings held at 6 p.m.

Participants do not need to be present to win.

The above special events are included in the zoo admission price.

PLUS...

PARAKEET JUNGLE: Get Cheek to Beak with a Parakeet! Feedsticks are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 to feed the parakeets!

GEMSTONE MINING: Get a bag of mining rough ($5.00 per bag) to mine for gems, minerals, & fossils! Take home your findings!

ANIMAL RIDES: Animal Rides will be available for $5.00 per rider.
