Past: Catapult Spring Fling

Southeast Missouri State University’s Catapult Creative House and the Southeast Missouri State University Alumni Association are hosting the Catapult Spring Fling Open House from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Catapult Creative House.

Activities will include guided tours, interactive craft demonstrations, live printing demonstrations in the letter press studio and a selfie area with a University-themed backdrop.

The Pop-Up retail space will present the opportunity for visitors to purchase one-of-a-kind jewelry, cards and wearables, as well as ceramics and prints, all created by local artists. The Pop-Up Shop is located behind the Letter Press Studio on the first floor of Catapult Creative House.

Jessica Lambert, manager of the Catapult Creative House Student Gallery, will also present a short lecture about “Validity,” a collection of visual works created by female artists.

This free event is family-friendly and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
