Past: Redhawks Kids Camp: The Great Outdoors

This session will feature a field trip (May 30 9 a.m.-1 p.m.) to Levi's Adventure Trail. Campers will also learn about the Charles Hutson Horticulture Greenhouse at Southeast Missouri State University as we tour the grounds, learn about plants, and take a nature walk. Campers will also learn how to set up a tent, create their own scavenger hunt and learn how to use archery equipment.

May 29-June 1, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Redhawks Kids Camp is designed for children entering grades 1-6 in the Fall of 2018. Campers must have completed kindergarten and may not have started grade 6. Redhawks Kids Camp is a very active day camp, full of fun games, activities, water games and swimming. Specific activities vary on a day-to-day basis, and theme weeks all lend to a fun “not boring” camp. Camp counselors are Southeast Missouri State University students, and have the energy to match the campers. Camper-to-counselor ratio is kept low.
