Past: Southeast Horizons: Let’s Run Off to the Circus

Participants can tell their parents that they are joining the circus, right here in town. Explore a world of pure imagination including learning to juggle, swinging on the trapeze, twirling on the hoop (not a hula hoop, but we have those too!), wrapping up in a cocoon with the stretchy hammock, learning the trick to walking a tightrope using low balance beam, and maybe even climbing a rope or fabric. Led by Melinda Held, instructor.

Open to ages 9-14. Course fee is $100. Lab fee is $19.

The Horizons program is a fun way for youth to learn new ideas and skills not covered in the traditional classroom. Join Southeast Missouri State University this June and July for Horizons, where fun and learning truly coexist. Course fees include a Horizons t-shirt, field trips and instructional materials.
