Past: Southeast Horizons: Weird Science

Southeast Missouri State University Extended and Continuing Education

Students conduct experiments parents won’t allow at home. Students will build a real working hovercraft and watch it levitate, make a huge mess with erupting volcanos made of papier-mâché, and launch balloon rockets into the air. Students will also explode lunch bags, make the grossest slime around and learn how to bend water with electricity. Led by Elizabeth Mooneyhan, instructor.

Open to ages 9-14. Course fee is $100. Lab fee is $19.
