Past: Southeast Horizons: Beginner Bots, Week 2

Southeast Missouri State University Extended and Continuing Education

Students will use a LEGO™ Mindstorms kit to build and program four different contraptions, including a robo-kid, a robo-puppy, a conveyor belt and the claw. Students will build these robots using step-by-step instructions and pre-made programs. Led by Jeremy Griffin and Md Rasheduzzaman, instructors.

Open to ages 9-14. Course fee is $100. Lab fee is $29.

The Horizons program is a fun way for youth to learn new ideas and skills not covered in the traditional classroom. Join Southeast Missouri State University this June and July for Horizons, where fun and learning truly coexist. Course fees include a Horizons t-shirt, field trips and instructional materials.
