Past: Southeast Horizons: Launch Your Line

Students can become entrepreneurs and create their own fashion lines for sale. They will learn the ins and outs of fashion line development while honing specific fashion skills. They will master the art of sewing, fabric selection, design inspiration and more. They will also dive into the world of merchandising with Southeast’s Catapult Creative House, working with a sales representative and selling their creations within the Catapult retail space. Sewing machines and supplies are provided. Led by Leah Powers, instructor.

Open to ages 9-14. Course fee is $100. Lab fee is $29.

The Horizons program is a fun way for youth to learn new ideas and skills not covered in the traditional classroom. Join Southeast Missouri State University this June and July for Horizons, where fun and learning truly coexist. Course fees include a Horizons t-shirt, field trips and instructional materials.
