Past: Southeast Horizons: Science Spoilers

Continuing Education, Southeat Missouri State University

Students become a myth busters team in the lab to see what science has to say about some of these mind-bending myths: Is there any truth to the five-second rule? What happens when you swallow gum? Can pop rocks and cola really make your stomach explode? How many helium balloons would it take to lift a house? On a hot day, can you fry an egg on the sidewalk? Led by Elizabeth Mooneyhan, instructor.

Open to ages 9-14. Course fee is $100. Lab fee is $29.
