In the next 15 years, the number of seniors aged 65 and older will increase from 42 million to 70 million. The increased patient population will have a significant impact on geriatric healthcare and we must be prepared for the changes and challenges ahead. This conference will provide education on geriatric topics.

Saint Francis Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Missouri Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 6.5 contact hours provided. (1.0 hours pharmacotherapeutic continuing education included). The Division of Professional Registration for Respiratory Therapy has approved 4.5 Continuing education hours for this program. AOTA hours pending.
