Past: Healin' Home

Set in central Missouri in 1910, Healin Home tells the story of three orphaned siblings who are determined to stay together. In those days orphaned siblings could be split up and adopted by different families, something these children refuse to accept. So they run away from the Orphan Train on which they had been placed. They end up on the doorstep of a couple who had lost their daughter and are mired down in grief. The arrival of the children sparks a sense in the couple that maybe they are still meant to be parents. Together, the children and parents find a way to heal.
