This Broadway Musical tells the life story of Eva Perón, the second wife of Argentine president Juan Perón, and a political leader in her own right.

The musical follows her early life, rise to power, charity work, and eventual death.

Starting with successful productions in London's West End in 1978, earning it the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, Evita opened on Broadway in September, 1979, when it was the first British musical to receive the Tony Award for Best Musical. It had a Broadway revival in 2012-13 and numerous professional tours, as well as a major 1996 film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas.

It is a classic Broadway Musical, and one not to miss!
