Past: Sunday Music at the Mayfield

Mayfield Cultural Center

July 15, starting at 2 p.m., there will be a musical extravaganza at the Mayfield Cultural Center in Marble Hill.

The program will kick off at 2 p.m. with Pumpkin River, a family bluegrass band from Zalma as the lead-off act. This Bluegrass family includes Ed and Michelle, the parents, and sons Evan and Brett. They feature a rousing array of gospel bluegrass numbers.

The second act, starting about 2:45 will be solo pianist Zach Elfrink from Leopold. Zach is becoming well known in the area and this will not be his first appearance at the Mayfield. Zach will "tickle the ivories" with a blend of exciting musical offerings.

The third entertainer on the program will be Thomas Walton, whose arrival on the stage will be at approximately 3:30 PM. Thomas is a talented singer, instrumentalist, and songwriter who has also produced records for other performers. Thomas' talents have recently been show-cased through Blue Creek Production Studios at Patton. His guitar work and singing are sure to please the audience.

Program ends about 4:30.

This is a fundraiser for the Mayfield Cultural Center. A Five dollar contribution will be requested from everyone over the age of 12.
