Shawnee Hills Wine Trail Announces “Midsummer Picnic Pairings” a Wine & Food Pairing Progressive Tasting Event

The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail announces their summer wine and food pairing event, “Midsummer Picnic Pairings” on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Join us for a Midsummer Celebration and enjoy delightful picnic style pairings with your favorite Shawnee Hills Wine Trail Wines. With summer in full force, a relaxing outdoor picnic is just what the doctor ordered. Grab a few friends and enjoy fresh foods of the season with award-winning reds, whites and rose's from your favorite wineries.

This is a great event for locals and tourists alike. It encourages guests to try wines that they may not otherwise sample, visit ALL of the wineries on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and learn wine and food pairing tips along the way.

How it Works: Pre-purchase your ticket online and select your starting point. The first winery that you visit will give you a souvenir wine glass and your tasting ticket. Bring your ticket to each location along the trail to enjoy your pairings. Leave your completed/stamped tasting ticket at the last winery visited, to be entered in a drawing for a chance to win great prizes along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail including overnight stays, discount coupons and more.
