Registration begins online 8 a.m. November 1 (ages 12+)

Enjoy the splendors of November and celebrate National Take a Hike Day by hiking through multiple different habitats at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge. What better way to relieve stress than go hiking through Southeast Missouri’s backyard.

Children ages 12 and up must have an adult. Hike and transportation from the Cape Nature Center are free. We won’t be going into areas where hunting on the refuge is taking place, however, please bring blaze orange to wear as safety precaution during hunting season.

Also bring a sack lunch, water, and other personal items (i.e. bug repellent, sunscreen, etc.).
