Past: 2nd Annual FOP Fishing Rodeo

The Cape Girardeau Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 51 has once again teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club for the 2nd Annual Fishing Rodeo.

The event is open to all kids age 15 and under.

Last year we had kids from as far away as Clarksville TN. The event is free to everyone and kids will also receive one free meal ticket. There will be giveaways, bounce houses, archery, gun safety, fishing and a whole lot more. Kids that choose to be can be placed in a drawing provided by Crappie USA for a chance to win one of five $1,000 scholarships to a school of their choice. Special guest Charlie Rodgers who spent many years as a professional crappie fisherman will be on hand to share tips and tricks.

Registration begins at 12 noon with the national anthem and kickoff to the event beginning at 1. We look forward to seeing everyone this year.
