Past: Learn How to be FOR a Child in Foster Care

Juvenile Office

Do you have a heart for children in foster care but don't know how to help? Consider becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)!

A CASA volunteer is a child's voice in court, ensuring the child's best interests are represented. Working alongside child welfare professionals, CASAs investigate the details of a case of child neglect or abuse, facilitate services for the child involved, advocate for the child's best interest in court, and monitor the progress of the case.

Learn more on Monday, 10/1, at 6 p.m. at the Juvenile Division Office, 2137 Rust Ave., Cape Girardeau.
