Past: Union County Colorfest Biathlon

Union County and the Southernmost Illinois Tourism Bureau invite you to participate in the 24th annual Union County Colorfest Biathlon on October 6, 2018 in Anna, Illinois. Race founder Chris Wells has resumed his role as Race Director for the 24th running of the event.

Starting at the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center grounds, the Biathlon is a 2 stage / multi sport event for runners and cyclists. The race begins with a 5K run followed immediately by a 17.5 mile bike ride. While the event poses a fantastic challenge for individual competitors in the 2 combined events, the race is also open to teams who prefer one discipline over another.
