Past: Winter Solstice Celebration

The Labyrinth at Abbey Road extends an invitation for your presence at a Winter Solstice Celebration! There will be a bonfire and brief ceremony with a labyrinth walk for those who wish to do so. Winter Solstice has been celebrated in all cultures for all time remembered. It is the longest night of the year and heralds the beginning of the solar year with Light returning to us for longer periods with each new day. This season is a time of nurturing and resting and renewal.

All ages are welcome to come celebrate this peaceful and rejuvenating season. Please dress to be warm outside for 30 minutes. In case of rain, we'll move inside for the ceremony.
