Past: Crisp Museum Hosting 'Copper Embossing and Tooling' Workshop

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting a “Copper Embossing and Tooling” workshop Jan. 19 from 1 - 4 p.m.
This event is free for all ages and is open to the public. Tools and materials will be provided.
During the workshop, participants will learn the art of creating raised images on the surface of thin copper. The class will use wood and bone tools to create images inspired by archaeological finds. Participants will be encouraged to make their own designs.
