Past: Kent Library's Athenaeum Lecture Series Continues

Title: The Rhetoric of the Senses: Creativity Through the Lens of Chefs and Writers

Lecturers: Chef Lisa Essmyer and Dr. Missy Nieveen Phegley

Chef Essmyer and Dr. Phegley will begin with a discussion of creativity and each discipline’s relationship between the senses and the body of work that discipline produces. They will then provide an opportunity for the audience to participate in sensory activities and examine the role they play in experiences that lead to nostalgic connections and traditions.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
