Past: Lecture and Workshop by Karen Witt of Reproduction Quilts

The River Heritage Quilters’ Guild (RHQG) in Cape Girardeau, MO, will host a quilting lecture and workshop by Karen Witt of Reproduction Quilts on April 8th and 9th.

Witt will present a quilting lecture on Color and Design at the RHQG monthly meeting on Monday, April 8th. Witt states “the first thing you notice about a quilt is its color and design – if that’s pleasing, then you want to examine it closer.” Witt will share how to implement the “rules” of color and design, and how to “break” them to create an outstanding quilt! Bring a variety of fabrics from your stash and work with them to create pleasing color and design combinations.

The meeting will be held at LaCroix Church, 3102 Lexington Avenue, Cape Girardeau, MO.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting starts at 6:30.
