Past: Not Just Desserts Anymore Auction

The Humane Society of Southeast Missouri will hold a dessert auction at SoutheastHEALTH'S Cancer Center with the proceeds going to help the homeless animals at the shelter. You can make a dish to donate and drop it by the Cancer Center from noon to 2 p.m. Great choices would be desserts, hor d'oeurves, casseroles or anything easily frozen and reheated. Please include recipe or at least list if there are any ingredients such as peanuts that some might be sensitive to. Or you can come to the auction to bid on foods to take home for the family to eat or to freeze and save for the holiday season. Admission to the auction is $15 which includes a drink and hor d'oeurves. For more information, call the humane society at 334-5837.
