Past: Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus presents Men’s Choral Festival

High school men from across the southeast Missouri region will convene for the Men’s Choral Festival. The semi-annual one-day festival will include performances by the University and Chamber Choirs and culminates in the Festival Chorus at 5:30 p.m., directed by Dr. Ryan Beeken. Beeken serves as director of choral activities at Wichita State University, where he conducts the Concert Chorale, the Women’s Ensemble and teaches courses in conducting and choral literature. Prior to his appointment at Wichita State, Beeken served as director of choral studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he conducted the Chorale and Chamber Singers and taught undergraduate and graduate choral conducting.
