Past: St. Joseph Parish Picnic

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek will hold the parish picnic. There will be games, a country store, fancy stand, raffles for prizes, bingo in the air-conditioned hall for a quilt and cash (starting at 5 p.m.) The all-you-can-eat buffet will be served from 2:30 to 7 p.m. and includes kettle-cooked beef and fried chicken plus all the fixings. Carry outs available. There will also be a food stand with hamburgers, fish, grilled cheese, ice cream, soda and beer. The Back Street Cruisers will provide music for dancing from 7 to 11 p.m. The Rev. Jim French will preside at the mass at 4 p.m.
