Dr. Hill will speak at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Kent Library’s Sadie’s Place (Main Floor). Lecture title: To the Moon… And Beyond!

Abstract follows: It has already been 50 years since man first set foot on the Moon. So much has changed since then. What led us to that amazing feat? Why haven’t we gone back? And where are we now in our quest for the stars? This talk looks at the social events, motivation, and innovative science that enabled us to reach the Moon in the first place and explores our current plans for future space exploration.
