Past: Public hike

The River-to-River Trail Society will hold its sixth public hike of the fall 2014 hiking season on Saturday, November 15. The hike will be in the area of Wildcat Bluff, Little Black Slough and Boss Island in Johnson County, Illinois. The hike is free and open to the public, but will be of moderate difficulty and is intended for people in good health who have done some walking. Boots or sturdy shoes are recommended. Hikers should bring their own water and a snack. No dogs, please. Meet at 10 a.m. at the City Park on East Vine Street (Highway 146 East) in Vienna, Illinois.
