Past: World War II Flight Training In Scott County

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Scott City Historical Museum, 1514 Main Street in Scott City, Missouri, guest speaker, Terry Irwin--historian, airplane pilot, teacher, researcher of the Harris Air Field (aka Cape Air port) and the Harvey Parks Memorial Field in Sikeston, will be speaking on the importance of these two airfields during World War II. He will have a slide presentation, present his research, have a question and answer time. All are welcome to come and learn about the history of two airports.
