Friday evening, December 5, Downtown Cape Girardeau will come alive with

Christmas spirit. Carolers and sleigh rides, sweet treats, holiday specials and

a host of festive cheer will help ring in the Christmas season. Bring your family

and friends down to experience the excitement of the annual Downtown

Christmas Open House. Here's how it works: Entry packets, available for pick up at Hutson's Fine Furniture, contain color-coded entry coupons for each participating merchant. These businesses will stay open from 5 - 9pm and have a box for you to drop their corresponding ticket into. One lucky winner will win the grand prize shopping spree valued at $1,500.
