Past: Uptown Jackson's February Annual Arts & Culture Event

Join us in Uptown Jackson, Saturday, Feb. 22nd for the 5th year of our "February Annual" arts and culture event. The Southern Illinois University School for Art and Design Glass Program will be transporting their portable glass blowing studio to Uptown.

SIU artists will be demonstrating glass sculpting with molten glass and will conduct live blowing demonstrations, beginning at 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. inside a tent near the Courthouse lawn. Admission is free.

There will be food and beverage trucks attending thru out the day.

The Cape County History Center will host an SIU student and faculty glass exhibition.
