Past: “One Tree” Photography and Acrylic Exhibit

Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center

Free for the Family Dwight Eisenhower gave a Green Ash Tree to honor Veterans. It was planted in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. A storm brought the tree down. Jan Chamberlain spent 4 months photographing the fallen tree. In the next 8 months she created 40 pieces of art from her photos. A exhibit of photography and acrylic will be on display in the Cape Girardeau Nature Center Aug 6-29.
