Past: Leaf It with Watercolor

In negative painting, you do not paint the subject itself. You will paint the negative, which are the shapes around, between, and behind the leaves, stems, and branches. You will be adding one layer of leaves and branches behind another layer. Each new layer will show darker and take you further into the background. No experience with watercolor painting required. Supplies provided. We will learn about the function of plant leaves and the names of the leaf shapes.
