Past: Babes in the Woods: Crawdad Capers

Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center

Registration period: May 31 - July 16

Mudbugs, ditch crickets, and crawdads, oh my! Whatever you like to call them, crayfish are a lot of fun. Introduce you little one to this clever creek creature as we learn what it takes to live like a crayfish. After a short presentation we will get to see live crayfish and enjoy a variety of free play activities.

Babes in the Woods programs are designed to empower parents to introduce babies and toddlers ages 0-2 years to the sights, sounds, and textures of nature. If you are participating in Cape Nature Center’s “A Year in Color” this program earns a blue aquatics bead.
