Zoom on in to the nature center and check out some of Missouri's hummingbirds. These quick little birds are known for their fast flight, emerald green feathers, and looong beaks! We'll learn how to recognize hummingbirds, what they like to eat, and how we can help them out. For those participating in the Cape Nature Center's "A Year in Color," this program will earn a red wildlife bead.

Little Acorns programs are designed to help children ages 3 - 6 learn about the natural world through hands on experiences, crafts, and focused free-play activities.

Come early or stay late to take part in our hummingbird celebration! The hummingbird celebration requires no registration and is open to all ages!
