Past: Support group for bereaved parents

The loss of a child is one of the most difficult issues any person will ever face. However, we are often encouraged to grieve quickly and get back to normal. Our culture encourages this and for those who have never lost a significant loved one, it makes sense. It quickly becomes very clear for those who grieve that life will never be the same. Life seems to “fall apart.” The group offers encouragement and hope to parents as they walk this painful journey.

The group is provided at no cost to any parent grieving the loss of their child, regardless of the age when they died. If you, or anyone you know, are grieving the loss of a child, please join us on Monday, February 23 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 223 W. Adams, Jackson, MO.
