Past: Ladybugs (Virtual)

Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center

Registration period: August 19 - October 27

Date: Thursday, October 27, 2022 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

Ladybugs, lady beetles, ladybird beetles… We hear so many names, but what are they? And, why are there so many in my house!? Much of the year these little red beetles often go unnoticed, however during the fall they seem to come out of the woodwork. As the weather gets colder and you begin to see more, you may want to tune in to learn more about these interesting insects. This class is best suited for those 12 years of age and older, but open to all ages. For those participating in the Cape Nature Center’s “A Year in Color,” this program will earn a red wildlife bead, and virtual participants are welcome to pick their bead up at the nature center after the program.

Please make sure that your MDC account includes an accurate email address so that you can receive a link to the virtual program.
