Past: SEMO District Fair - Day 1

The annual fair parade will start at 9:30 a.m. at Capaha Park and continues up Broadway to Kingshighway to the fairgrounds. Free caricature drawings by Share Faerber will be held from noon to 7 p.m. in the activities tent. Free bingo will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in the activities tent. Family Feud sponsored by the Cape Elks Lodge will be held form 4 to 6 pm. in the activities tent. The 2022 River Radio Heartland Idol last preliminary round will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the activities tent. The Demolition derby will be held at 6 p.m. at the Grandstand. The cornhole/bags tournament singles event will be held at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Pavilion with the doubles event starting at 1 p.m. in the American Legion Pavilion. 4-H poultry, rabbits and guinea pigs will be judged at 1 p.m. in the poultry tent. Senior draft horse show and mule hitch challenge willb e held at 4:30 p.m. at Ball field 7. Carnival rides will open at noon.
