Past: Polar Plunge

Support local Special Olympics athletes by walking, running or crawling into the frigid winter waters. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri's year-round sports program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Register from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Osage Centre in Cape Girardeau, or starting at noon Saturday at the event site. Parking and shuttles are available at Procter & Gamble. Please allow extra time. The plunge begins at 2 p.m. A post-plunge party will be at 4 p.m. in the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau banquet room, with free food, music and a silent auction.
